Dr. Kevin "Casey" Keating
Dr. Keating grew up in Greensboro, NC, spending most of his summers in Brevard and Asheville. He graduated from Greensboro Day School in 2005, and from the University of Virginia in 2008, where he was a Rodman Scholar in engineering and finished an Echols Scholar in biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012. Dr. Keating completed a highly selective, multi-disciplinary residency at the Veteran Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC, where he had advanced training in complex restorative, surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and implants. Dr. Keating is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Buncombe County Dental Society.
While Dr. Keating is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry, his "specialty," is custom tailoring treatment plans to each individual's needs and desires. Dr. Keating takes great pride in listening to his patients and providing quality, affordable care with a gentle hand and a calm chair-side manner.
Dr. Keating's favorite hobbies are camping, canoeing, mountain biking and playing guitar.
Dr. Amanda Meade Keating
Dr. Amanda grew up a small town country girl in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia, about 2 hours north of Asheville. She graduated in 2004 from the University of Virginia's College at Wise, with her degree in biology. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and graduated in 2012 with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Since graduation, Dr. Amanda has practiced in various settings, including private practice and public health clinics. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable while in the dental chair, and enjoy their visit at the office. She loves treating kids, and also provides clear aligner orthodontic services. Dr. Amanda is passionate about providing health care to underserved populations, and works part time with a program that treats school aged children living in rural areas of Western North Carolina.
Outside of work, Dr. Amanda enjoys cooking, pottery, hiking, and spending time with her animal babies. She and Dr. Keating have a newfoundland dog, a cat and 4 backyard chickens.
